Finding Sara

Creeping closer and closer to my 30’s I can finally believe that I have the power to action my dreams and achieve my goals one day at a time!

Strong, powerful, passionate and finding me!

The youngest of three daughters in an  Australian born Italian family,  I spent the major part of my childhood dancing and performing: competition after competition, you can say my competitive edge and hard working attitude started way before my teens.

My parents were not your typical Italian parents, they never pushed us to do anything we didn’t want to, we had freedom to explore and they inspired us to achieve big and anything we choose but in saying that anything we committed ourselves to they expected us to perform.  The wanted the best from us and for us.

At 18, fresh out of high school, I said goodbye to my friends and family, jumped on a plane and  moved to Singapore to study what I believed was the only thing I ever wanted to do Performing Arts. 5 years later, a degree in hand, a contract with Universal Studios finished, I returned girl not to sure whether she was all that up to her childhood dream!

A few events, triumphs & obstacles later I now work with my father and eldest sister for our family business.  Its different, strange and hectic: just imagine 3 fiery, emotional and passionate Italians working side by side, but a whole heap of love binds us together and somehow we make it work.

A good portion of my childhood involved me being told what was wrong with me, my weight, my image, my attitude, my character and I have spent a lot of time worrying about what everyone else thinks about me but now I am finding my feet and ready to take on the world as me!

I am a clown, I write raw and I hope to tell it as it is.

Join me on my journey and lets find Fab-U-Lous!

  3. Hi Sara — yay for all the positive energy on your blog, it makes me feel ready to take on the world too! This year I’ve resolved to visit and comment on a positive blog every day, keeping a list on my own site, to improve my attitude and create joy. Your blog is my entry for today. 🙂
